Short description

A large, upright, later spreading, evergreen shrub to 3-4m (10-13ft) high and 1.8-2.4m (6-8ft) wide, with dark green leaves, spiny branches and dense clusters of small, white flowers in late spring which appear on the previous year's growth. These are followed by a profusion of bright yellow berries in autumn.
